BioGuard® Stabilizer 100 Chlorine Stabilizer & Conditioner
Stabilizer 100 Chlorine Stabilizer & Conditioner safely & effectively adds cyanuric acid to your swimming pool.
Cyanuric Acid works to keep chlorine in the water rather than being attacked & removed by the sun's ultraviolet light.
Without Stabilizer 100, chlorine quickly dissipates & consumption increases.
Stabilizer is normally added when a pool is freshly filled or when LARGE amounts of make-up water are added to the pool.
DO NOT ADD MORE THAN ONE TIME PER SEASON. ONLY ADD WHEN NECESSARY (CYA level under 40 ppm).
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: When starting in the spring time or at initial pool opening, filter the water for at least 24 hours before testing CYA for an accurate reading. Most pools using stabilized chlorine DO NOT need stabilizer in the spring time start up UNLESS at least 50% of the pool's volume has been replaced (fresh water added).
For use ONLY in chlorine pools.
DO NOT use in pools sanitized with bromine or biguanide. Swimmers may use pool only 15 minutes after application.
No Pre-mixing required!
Application:
Read & follow all label instructions. When pool is not in use, broadcast 1 lb. Per 3,000 gals directly into the deep end of the pool with the pump running (will produce a CYA level of approximately 30ppm). May be added SLOWLY through the skimmer if the pool is equipped with PLASTIC pipe. DO NOT ADD THRU SKIMMER IF POOL IS EQUIPPED WITH METAL PIPE
DO NOT BACKWASH FILTER FOR 48 HOURS AFTER THE APPLICATION OF STABILIZER 100.
Allow water to circulate 12 to 24 hours continuously.
Use as needed.
Pump must run 8--12 hours daily for best results
