BioGuard Pool Pods are a unique, easy to use dual layer tablets that make pool care more convenient. They allow you to clean, sanitize, and shock in one easy step. These tablets are divided into two layers: a blue layer and a white layer. The blue layer supplies routine maintenance shock, letting you achieve crystal clear, sparkling water. It dissolves in about 2 hours with the pump running. The white layer kills bacteria, sanitizing your pool. It contains sunshield technology, which protects chlorine from sunlight allowing you to use less. This white layer will provide the appropriate level of chlorine for 5-7 days. (Based upon a 10-12 hour pump run time and at least 1 ppm free available chlorine for 5-7 days.)
